Exhibition floor almost fully booked

At the end of July, we registered the 70th trade stand for the ASTRID User Days. This edition will host a large number of new applications on the 3,500 m² exhibition floor. Apart from the traditional companies, we also see many new Belgian and international players taking part for the first time. You will find the complete list of the trade stand holders and sponsors here.

Test your radio knowledge with TETRAsim

TETRAsim is a new online e-learning platform that ASTRID offers free of charge to all radio users. Users can follow training courses on TETRAsim, and access to the courses must be applied for at the training managers of the various agencies and organisations. When a crisis occurs, correct radio usage and a good radio discipline are essential. Don’t miss the stands of ASTRID and the Police for a demonstration or to put your knowledge to the test.

App 112 ASTRID

The Belgian Police and Home Affairs have their own stand

For the very first time, the Federal Public Service Home Affairs and the Belgian Police will each present their innovations on a large stand. Home Affairs will present the 112BE app. Using a realistic workstation, visitors will be able to put themselves in the place of a 112 control room operator. The Civil Defence will demonstrate its new TAST robot, a drone capable of measuring air quality and a balloon with satellite for missions abroad. Other things to see on the stand: the new ICMS platform of the National Crisis Centre, the BE-Alert app and the simulation tool of the Knowledge Centre for Civil Security (KCCE). The Belgian Police will show its new Volvo V90 with special equipment for the Motorway Police. The theme of the stand will be the “connected police”, with tools such as BeSecure and the use of video images in police work.
