Extra coverage for Esperanzah!

This year's Esperanzah! festival took place at the beginning of August at Floreffe Abbey, with 35,000 people attending over the three days. The event called for enhanced radio coverage in what is usually an idyllic setting. ASTRID's Field Intervention Team deployed the mobile antenna on site, providing emergency and security services with sufficient radio capacity to ensure that this celebration of world music ran smoothly. While sheep in the nearby fields nodded in approval, festivalgoers were able to safely enjoy the music and the performances. ASTRID has since completed the purchase of a second, more compact relay antenna vehicle fitted with satellite technology.
