Belgian Home Affairs presents innovations at the ASTRID User Days!

For the very first time, the Belgian department for Civil Security will present its innovations on a large stand. Using a realistic workstation, visitors will be able to put themselves in the place of a 112 control room operator. Visitors will also be able to download the 112 BE emergency app. The Civil Defence will demonstrate its new robot, and its TAST team will welcome you in its intervention lorry equipped with several new technologies. Other new things to see on the stand: the new ICMS platform of the National Crisis Centre and the “Visual Learning” educational tool of the Knowledge Centre for Civil Security (KCCE).
As far as the seminar programme is concerned, the Federal Public Service Home Affairs will present several subjects such as the evolution of the control rooms, the Security Commission for ASTRID TETRA indoor radio coverage and the ICMS platform.
